It looked great next to the
Skylab. When I bought it, I figured I would fix it up and then sell it. After playing it,
I was sure it would be a keeper.
My friend Steve wanted it from the day I put it downstairs.
February 8, 2003 was a sad day at my house. I finally caved in and
sold it to him. I needed the space. Also, I needed the money for a
Grand Prix and as a start towards a pool table fund. Before I sold
it, I had it in between a Space Mission and Skylab. The 3 games
looked nice together. Click Here to see my Space
Theme Group Picture. I also sold
Steve a shopped Pat
Hand and an Aztec
that needed
restoration. Someday, Steve claims the Aztec will actually be
plugged in and restored. It was one of the 5 games we brought back
May 13, 2001 from Gene's
Auction in the Pontiac
Montana Mini-van. He
bought it right out of the back of the van. I never even had it in
the house. He immediately purchased a
new rubber kit. It's been almost 2 years now and it is in
about 200 pieces in his workshop. He is making progress slowly but
surely. If he is lucky, he might be able to put those rubbers on
before they need to be replaced due to age! |
