I've got to give Gene credit right here. I
think he was a good host and I had several opportunities to talk with him. He was friendly
and seemed to be having a pretty good time. I thought for sure he would be bidding and
making sure he got his price for the games. I don't think he bid at all, nor do I think he
had anyone bidding for him. I only hope he made enough money where he will do it again. How about it Gene? (OK, no more
sucking up - on with the pictures) |

There's Don with Gene's picture on his back. Right over Don's left
shoulder is Gene. Next to Gene is Herb Silver. Don't know who that other guy is, but he is
now immortalized forever on Pete's Excellent Home Page. |

Don and Gene have a unique relationship. I'm just not sure Gene knows it. Don't worry
Gene, your shirt will be mailed this month. I really wanted to change the caption on the
shirt to "Gene, thanks for selling me a Fireball" instead of
"Gene, Please sell me a Fireball". Maybe next time. |
