Here's my first game. I bought it in 1993 at the
Chicago Expo Auction when Dave picked up his Royal
Flush.
It's a Gottlieb Big Shot. The only problem when I
bought this game was that the main board at the bottom of the cabinet had slid towards the
top and one flipper wire was off. I bought it at the Chicago Expo Auction. What a rush!
I caught this game on fire one day when I was dumb enough to clean the inside with
contact cleaner and then start it up before it all evaporated. I had to put the fire out
with a fire extinguisher. I had the front door opened and the first flame after the
explosion nearly toasted the family jewels. This ended up being my first major inside the
cabinet restoration! The game now works perfectly. |
