I purchased this at the 1998 Chicago Expo
from a booth. I was really excited to get this because I had been
looking for one for 5 years to go next to my Super
Soccer.
Dave bought an Aztec
from the same guy and I also bought a Skylab
from someone else. A very successful trip I would say.
The guy we bought from was a ripoff artist (plus we were stupid). He was located in the back room directly around
the corner from the guy who sold the slot machines in 1999. He was not there in 1999. We
had to twist his arm for the legs after we had agreed on a price, the orange wood that the
head sits on (see the top picture) was missing and I didn't notice until I was home.
Dave's game was set up for European 220 and the guy had told us it was working the prior
week. The Aztec was also missing the knocker and xylephone. Oh well, lesson learned. Last
year I found another 300 that I bought from Carl Heller. I combined the best into this
game and sold the other one to my cousin. Both are top notch.
